A university lecturer and cybersecurity project leader, but above all a passionate explorer of digital mysteries.
🔍💻 For me, cybersecurity isn’t just a career, it’s a veritable field of adventure. My journey began with a fascination for this woman I saw on TV, which made me want to dive headfirst into the world of ethical hacking.
Since then, I’ve swapped the pirate’s sword for the ethical hacker’s key, teaching young and old alike how to navigate the (not always so calm) waters of the internet safely.
As a Master’s-level teacher, I juggle technical concepts such as ethical hacking to make cybersecurity accessible to students from a variety of backgrounds, some of whom are new to tech.
I love deciphering the ‘code’ in their intrigued eyes – a real pleasure for my neurons and a challenge for my vocal chords 😅!
Between international projects and training future experts, I embody a simple message: neither where we come from nor the trials of life should limit our ambitions.
It’s this determination that motivates me to pass on and make cybersecurity a welcoming and inspiring world for everyone.
What drives me to get involved in cybersecurity is the conviction that we’re not just protecting systems, but people, ideas and possible futures.
In a world of rapidly evolving threats, the importance of remaining both agile and caring is paramount.
Every action has an impact, and it’s this responsibility that makes me want to keep pushing the boundaries of my skills.
‘Évidemment’ by La Zarra.
A song whose depth and ambivalence resonate with the complex world of cybersecurity.
In data protection, as in human relationships, the decisions we make always have consequences, sometimes invisible but crucial. The song explores these themes in a subtle way, reminding us of the importance of our choices and their implications.
‘Évidemment, tout n’est qu’illusion, dans le fond, nous n’avons que nos corps.’
For me, these words echo the fragility of digital technology. Our systems and protections, however solid they may be, are based on illusions that we must constantly reinvent and reinforce.
What really counts is our ability to anticipate, to react, to protect what is essential, and that behind every decision lies a shared responsibility.
I’d like to thank you again, Luc, for this wonderful initiative, which highlights a more human and emotional side of our profession.
I’m enthusiastic about taking part in this project, and I’m sure that it will help to raise awareness while bringing a little lightness and creativity to our approach to cyber security.
