I’ve lived several lives, on different continents and in worlds as varied as a European research centre, an industrial multinational or a small business overseas. From project management to team management, via lean management, agility and training,

I’ve done my bit. Then one day, in the midst of a career change, I discovered cyber governance.

Since then, I’ve been juggling training, cyber risk management and international standards, always ready to defuse digital bombs… or human ones.

▶️ What makes you want to get involved in cybersecurity every day?

In this job, there’s no respite! Threats are constantly evolving, so it’s impossible to get any sleep.

But it’s above all my students who inspire me and push me to go further. They are curious and creative, and every day they surprise me with what they teach me.

Chosen song: ‘La bombe humaine’ by Téléphone.

Because in cyber security, the danger is often in someone’s hand. The human factor is everywhere: in the company, within the team, and sometimes even in the heads of managers… who are often in denial and refuse to see the danger.

Cybersecurity is a bit like a video game where the levels get tougher all the time, except that if you lose, it’s not just a joystick you’re dropping, it’s your customers’ data, your company, even your job.

But hey, with a good cup of coffee and a well-configured firewall, you’re ready to face the next wave… or at least avoid someone pressing the red button by accident.
